Top 5 Wednesday | Cover Buys & Books I wish I read earlier
This is my first top five Wednesday! I will later post a video to this. As of now, my blog post will do. This tag was created by Lainey at Goodreads! Anyone can participate, just link to the Goodreads group and posts your updates.
Cover Buys:
Tiger's Curse - Colleen Houck:
Currently reading this book. I saw the cover and decided to read the summary. I thought I would like, but it's not turning out that way. I hope I can finish it.
----
City of Bones - Cassandra Clare
I saw the cover and was like: oh, okay. I need this.
----
Fallen 1-2/ Fallen 3-4 - Thomas E. Sniegoski
I got this when Borders was still happening. I saw the wings and a muscular body - let's just say my decision was made easily.
----
Kissed by an Angel - Elizabeth Chandler
I picked this up because of the simplicity. And that it's a bind -up of three books.
----
Saga -Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples
Basically got this because of the Readables when she was doing her reviews. This is getting me back into graphic novels. I can't wait to get the second book.
Books I wish I read Earlier:
Inferno - Dante Alighieri & Anthony Esolen
I started reading this a summer ago and I have yet to finish it. I feel like I should've read this in school but we did and I certainly don't remember my other classmates, both regular and advance, reading this. I also went to Italy and should've read it there.
---
City of Bones - Cassandra Clare
This is sitting in my bookshelf, unread. I have read CoB and CoA. I am going to have to re-read it because it's been a while and I really don't remember what happens in the first two books.
----
I have always wanted to read this book, but every time I pass it in the bookstore I don't pick up. I currently don't think I am ready to read it. And my bookshelf is not ready either.
---
I read this in 10th grade for an assignment. Though the storyline is sad, I enjoyed reading it.
---
The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
I started reading this a couple of months after I graduated from HS and by that time they announced they were making the movie. I remember seeing my classmate read this before class started.
That took me longer than expected but I hope you all enjoy my post! See you Sunday!
